CreateSpace – Designing Your Own Cover

In a previous post about publishing through CreateSpace, I mentioned how easy it is to design a cover using their Cover Creator tool. The only problem that I have found is when you have a full-sized cover already designed, perhaps for an Ebook, and that has the book name and author name already blended in. You can hide many elements using their tool, but I could not find a template that would let me hide the title. The next option was their cover template which gives you a pre-formatted template based on the number of pages in your document. The cover on the left is one that I had created after purchasing the graphic that was desired for this book. I was working with someone through Fiverr and the process was going a little slowly, so I tried my hand at creating a cover. I don't like the tendency to call people stupid, but this one definitely fits. While riding to work this past week, a thought occurred to me as I saw police cars and officers sitting at the road closed signs of various streets. If society were not too stupid to use common sense, maybe we could save taxpayers some money. How is that? The road is flooded. Where there used to be a low-lying road, there is now a river due to a drenching hurricane. Security System Amcrest IP4M 4 Megapixel Cameras

This security system doesn't have to break your bank account I did plenty of research before purchasing this security system. There were comments about the reliability of the hardware and app. I also discovered listings about tweaking the zones and sensitivity in order to reduce false positives due to motion detection. My research didn't reveal anything about the excellent field of view for these IP4M cameras. The picture below shows the angle of my camera setup. Auto repair costs too high? Save money by doing it yourself Save on auto repairs? Definitely. The pictures above are original headlights on a 2006 Hyundai Tucson. I checked with a couple of auto parts stores and discovered a replacement cost, parts only, over $400. That was a bit discouraging, given my limited budget. Concerns for a limited budget resulted in multiple purchases of the headlight cleaning wipes at a local retailer. I sense a "guffaw," so I guess you have been there. That investment of $8 to $20 bought one month or less of clear headlights. With something that has sustained ten years of use, there are no truly cheap repair solutions.
